Double Twin Schaft

Good ventilation near to the flock is very important. Especially in huge block houses, of which there are many in Russia, this can be a problem. Tulderhof, the ventilation specialist, has found a very practical and excellent working solution for this problem, the Double TWIN Shaft.

The Double TWIN Shaft is a big shaft which is in or attached to the roof. Attached to the underside of the shaft are two Tulderhof TWIN ventilation valves, which have exactly the same functionality as normal sidewall valves.

In wintertime cold air is directed upwards and takes warm air from the floor with it, the so-called Venturi effect. The fresh cold air mixes perfectly with the warm air preventing chilling and draught on the animals.

In summertime the TWIN valves are completely directed to the animals. This way the birds have lots of fresh air and are cooled down as well.
Optionally we can make a built-in light trap.
