Winter insulation for tunnel inlet valves

A number of tunnel inlet valves can form together a big cold bridge, by means of which you can lose a lot of energy in winter. Since you do not use these valves in winter anyway, Tulderhof has developed a special winter insulation for them. The insulation door can be made for 2, 4, 6 or 8 Tunnel Twin valves (10x55cm 9500m³ by 20 Pa). It provides a system that easily can cover a group of valves at a time.

The valve can be easily opened and then fastened to any desired width without using any ladder.

Another plus point you can see in summer is that even with the maximum opening, the valves do not let any direct sunlight in.

The door is produced of a high quality sandwich panel 4 cm thick, which guarantees a very good insulation.

To reach a still beter closing, on the outer side we placed an anti-draught strip.

The winter insulation for the tunnel inlet valves is very easy to install and manage. One person can easily send it up and down.
