A blackout ridge is a very nice solution to get daylight into a poultry- or pig house. Daylight from the roof gives the best light distribution across the building, also when the ridge is partly closed.

Every blackout ridge is custom made out of elements. Inside every element movable slats are mounted which can be adjusted with a winching system (electrically or by hand).

Insulation is well ensured. From bottom to top: 1. a sheet of 25 mm polycarbonate, 2. a thick layer of still air, 3 a sheet of 10 mm polycarbonate.
